In my part of the world, there is no other option than to hang it out to dry in the sun unless you are part of the super rich. The laundry machines are affordable but have not become popular here.

Right now I am hang drying because the dryer is broken. I ordinarily don't do it to save costs, but I may start doing a little more of that.

Yes, when I can, snowing now, but as soon as the weather changes, all my laundry will go back out on the line. I think everyone that can should hang laundry.

I love the smell of line dried clothes. I never hang jeans or towels tho. One thing that stinks is that you gotta watch for bees. It makes me feel so domesticated to hang a load of laundry.Sad thing is that I can only do that for like three months out of the year-weather related issue.

NO! (Mainly because when on Active Duty for the US Military I was stationed in places where the assigned quarters did NOT have Dryers and HATE seeing laundry flapping in the breeze!)

Oh, I just can't stand those horrible metal poles with those lines stringing out people's personal articles of clothing -- just looks bad ...

No, I hang them outside to get fresh smell to them, also, when you hang whites out the sun bleaches then for you and you do save on energy cost, but I like the crisp fresh smell

I hang clothes out because I love that fresh,line dried smell.Particularly nice for bedding as someone has already mentioned.I swear you get a better night's sleep.
