Yea, and a lot of times it was a real pain to "click" that sucker off and on, because you would get dirt around it or build up of something that fell on the floor, or the button would wear out and be a miserable thing to have to replace!

I am "so" glad its on the steering column now, it makes it so easier even if it does go bad and some one else has to fix it because everything in the World from the trunk to the left front tire has to be taken off the silly steering wheel to get to it, its still convinient as all get out!

I wish you well...

Jesse

Yes I do . The light switch was actually a switch that you pulled out too. You didn't have to turn on the wipers, washer, cruise control or heater trying to find the darn thing !

YES. My ex had a truck like that and the first time I drove it was at night and I couldn't even figure out how to turn them on, much less turn on the dims. I still think is the coolest thing and I want one installed inn my minivan!

yup and it would get caked with mud and my shoe would slide off and sometimes wouldn't get the button hit in time before I passed another vehicle and he'd find his and flash me with his lights cause I didn't cut off my high beams for him...(whew....long sentence)

My first two cars had the switch there.

It was such a novelty when they first put it on the column.
