Why does the reaction between HCL and MnCO3 speed up when concentrated HCL is added?

A reaction is basically a collision between the molecules of the reactants. There has to be enough energy for the collision to be effective.

The more reactant molecules that are present, the more colissions will occur. Think of cars in traffic. The more cars, the more likely a collision.
