A good idea would be a topic that has been around a while so that there is a lot of information on it and it is still accessable.

Ha! I was in the same boat when I did these papers. Set the font as large as permissible and Indent the Margins.
Speaking of boats. That be a good paper. Just write about how a Sail Boat is made and describe the different Sails, Tacking, rudder, hull and keel. May throw in Navigation and how it has changed from a basic compass to GPS. It should fill up quickly.
These links help get you started. Also, go to the library and get a few books on sailing to use for references and see if they have some magazines on sailing. That should cover your references.

Do a research paper on "The No Child Left Behind Act." There are thousands of pages of information that can be found on the Internet. I had to do a research paper back during the fall and I did mine on "The No Child Left Behind Act" little to say after I got the paper back I faxed the research paper right to the Secretary of Education, and
George Bush himself. The reason being was because the students in special education were being denied a chance of a equal education all because states like Michigan, New Jersey, Texas, and Colorado cared more about money than they did the students' future. Three months later it was in the newspaper that every state had to develop a strategy to test the progress of special education students by the 2008-09 school year. I like to think that I stirred up a huge hornet's nest in DC.
If you would like a copy of my research paper I would be more than happy to e-mail you a copy of it, including the part the I faxed up to DC. Just let me know

its simple. pick something that really interests you. youll find that researching will be fun, and your paper will have enough information.
pick a topic, and then narrow it down.

-subtopic THE ABUSE OF RACE HORSES
