how can i get it to connect to the internet it just will not work for me at all i have a acer running off of windows vista i have never had one help me

I'm not too familure with Vista, but basically you have to show all your network connections, and make sure the one you are using is activated.

hey dude,
do you have dail-up networking configured on teh notebook ,
you need to check that out in the windows components in the contol panel

Call Dlink tech support or look on their web site's FAQ's.
Most of their routers are OS independent.
