I have 2 mollies im trying to get to breed, I pretty sure that ones a male and a female, I think I have a male because of the pointy abdomen fin, the other one has a rounder fin and is a little more plumber. Do I have a female and a male?
Any pic of a female and a male would be great im new a breeding!

Sounds like you have a male and female to me too.

Here's a pic that can help:

These are sailfin mollies, but it works the same for any molly. The female is on top and the male on bottom.

No doubt if they have been in a tank together for more than a few days that they have mated. You should expect babies in about 4 weeks.

Sounds like you do have a male and a female. You can do a look up on molly fish, you will be able to find a site that has pics of both sexes, some one from yahoo sent it to me, but i can't find the link now, sorry! Good luck!

I would look online and make sure that your tank meets all of the requirements for the mollies to breed. They have preferences for hardness and ph and such. I used the wikipedia. Definitly the first step is to make sure that you have a male and female.
