u obviously dont have the stock pipes. did u have the carb rejetted when u had the pipes changed? if u didnt, u might have a too-lean condition, and that will make the bike run very hot. the 07 hd's are very lean from the factory due to epa regs, and the word i've been getting is, they're running hot enough to make the rider stand up off the saddle when sittin at a light.

this bike doesnt come with an oil cooler. u could add 1 tho. this isnt a water cooled bike. if the fins are clogged with junk, it will affect cooling. if u havent had the carb rejetted, best to get that done before u melt the pistons.

No it's not. Somebody obviously screwed up the mixture by replacing pipes and jets without knowing what they were doing.

not normal. i suggest u get the carb or ecm properly adjusted. it sounds like u have a very lean condition. i wouldnt be surprized if its so lean, its on the verge of causing engine damage.

this is an air oil kooled bike you need to try and look through your oil cooler on the front of the frame cotton wood seeds dust and various and sundry other **** can easily clogg air flow through your cooler and cause the over heating condition you describe
