Are there any books i can read to become better with understanding computers?

I learned through trail and error. Best way to learn.. Books aren't always right

There's a book by: Scott Mueller called: "Upgrading and Repairing PCs", which has been really helpful to me. It's a bit expensive, but it's very in-depth and detailed. Look for the latest edition
on eBay or half.com (also run by eBay). This man is a genius in the field of computers! The book also comes with a DVD video on assembling a P.C. from scratch, as well as several other subjects. My brother (who has a PhD in engineering recommended it to me. It's well worth the money, believe me.

Look for the Easy series on Amazon (see 1st link). Other options include:

Online tutorials (see 2nd link), the library and night school courses.

If available, join a computer club, or ask for help from friends and family. And read Yahoo answers often!!!

well i guess it depends what on computers you wanna learn about.

loads of resources on the internet.

if you wanna learn to program (web stuff especially) then go to www.w3schools.com

if just general things about a computer try something like http://computer.howstuffworks.com/

I found the "Dummies" books very helpful.
