I got the Director's Cut for Christmas. I'd never seen any version before though. I'd forgotten I got it for Christmas until yesterday, when I was organizing my dvds...lol So yesterday afternoon I finally watched 'Donnie Darko' for the first time. It was wonderful. I have lots of questions though that hopefully will be answered after I watch it a few more times ;-) Then last night, I couldn't sleep so I put it on again and turned the tv off and just listened to it until I fell asleep. So it was my first thought this morning! I may watch it again here in just a bit. Great movie! Not overrated. Not underrated. It's great like everyone says it is. :-)

A very interesting movie, but calling something the best is relative. I think it's a great movie. I had to watch it a couple times to catch on to parts of the movie (and I love movies like that).

Ohhhh, directors cut, huh. I'll have to check that out. It's like Butterfly effect I guess. They made a version for movies and cable that didn't really make sense at the end and the directors cut really brought the whole thing together....eBay here I come.

It's very original and good movie, but I think The Godfather should get the award for the best movie in history.
