They only thing they have that other people dont is attitude, confidence, and the know-how to use it to intimidate people into looking up to them. I'm not that popular, but I have more friends and a better social life than the 'popular' people, it's a self-proclaimed title, when it all boils down.

They may have confidence and use it to put you down. They may have more style or be better athletes. But you don't have to try to improve who you are right? You hang out with people that like you for who you are? You are popular in your own way like your friends like your sense of humor. A popular person may not have a sense of humor and try to put you down to make them better than you. Well there not. Also usually people are popular because of who they are or they fit in well with others and are nice, maybe you should try to be the better person. Well, you may not have something popular people have but that doesn't mean that you are missing that. Well theres things that they dont know too, they don't know that they are no better than anyone else:)

Nothing. Stick with true friends and, rest assured, many of the popular girls will be nothing after high school. Also remember this - there are way more "regular" people around than the "popular" ones.

It may look like popular girls have the confidence and attitude but deep down inside they are really insecure people.They have bad hair days and fashion disasters and what not but the one thing they are really good at is faking it.No matter how bad the situation is,they always keep a happy face and face the day with a positive attitude.

Define popularity? Did they get to be popular for good reason? Were they productive members of society? are they kind, helpful, athletic, strive for goodness? Do they work hard to achieve goals that are going to help them be productive adults?

Are they "just attractive"? Date the right boys? Have a "last name" that meant something to be "popular"
Most of the time "NOT ALL THE TIME" girls who want to be popular and fit in will do anything. This comes from A LACK OF SELF ESTEEM AND INSECURITY!
LIFE IS ABOUT INDIVIDUALITY!!!! Be proud of who you are.........NOT what you think is popular!!!
Chances are your not missing anything.....THEY ARE!!!

look, i was relatively popular in high school. i was on homecoming court and i guess i was generally well liked. i don't think i was a terrible person and i certainly wasn't catty or judgmental. that said, i don't think you are really missing out on all that much or it at least depends on the person. popular people can be really boring and unpopular people can be very interesting and vice versa. popularity, especially in high school, can be really fickle and, like fame, bears little on a person's strengths or weaknesses.

Listen, don't worry about trying to be one of the "popular girls." they're all just a bunch of stuck-ups. Just be yourself, and hang out with your own friends. No one says you have to fit into a certain clique. In middle school, I was always the OPPOSITE of what the "popular kids" were, and I didn't care. I had my own friends, and my own clique. We didn't care what they thought, because we had our own opinions.

I don't really uderstand. Sorry. But I do know girls like that make rumors and gossip about other people. Don't listen to them. Just stay with your friends and ignore them. Good Luck!

be popular for having LOTS OF FRIENDS that you love, not for money, athletisism, clothes, purses, etc.
