This is a serious questions. Please give me serious answers. I have heard people say bad things about Canadians, and make fun of them in different ways. Why is that? I truly don't know why., and I hear it a lot. Do american people feel they are superior to Canadians.
I am not trying to be mean, and this is a real question.

IMO America, by culture, is very competitive. American people channel this into a "mine is better than yours." mentality. Canada being our closest competition (Geographically, and pragmatically) suffers the fate of the brunt of this fear based reflex because of the perceived proximal threat it poses.

There is nothing wrong with us Canadians. We have good and bad just like every other country.
You will find that those Americans who have actually visited Canada think we are pretty awesome and a great place to live.

NO! A leaf? On a flag? Why now not simply positioned a pink circle..oops taken....or a functional pink move..oops taken as good.... what have been the opposite offerings...a pine cone or acorn? without problems uninteresting... now Germany..thats cool
