i have an undying fear of snails and i've been searching high and low to find out what it is properly called. does anyone know the answer?

Gastropodophobia
Gastropod = greek for snail or slug
so gastropodophobia is how you would name the fear of snails, if your were looking for the correct way to do it, b/c there are supposedly certain rules to naming phobias. Phobia (which is Greek) must be accompanied by a Greek word. However, there is no real name for this phobia.
Some referred to it as myxophobia or blennophobia for the fear of slime.

Hmm.. I did a search but couldn't find anything specifically about snails or slugs but I found 'blennophobia' which is the fear of slime.
The person above me who wrote Gastropodophobia is not an actual Phobia. Pretty sure it's MADE up.
