I've never dared use one but some of my friends have and they swore never again.
One had an old cwtch (a small cupboard like a safe) blow open and had a wind turn her room upside down on a calm day.
The other was 'playing' (her word not mine) with friends in the living room while her grandmother slept up stairs, something was asked about proving that the spirit was real by doing something to one of the girls - but instead the Grandmother died. Since the girls had been told not to dig up spirits, the girl thinks it was a punishment for being disobedient and doubting.
I have heard some positive stories over the years but none stick in the mind like the 2 bad ones do.

These boards are NOT toys they should never be 'played' with. They 'command' respect by someone who has the knowledge to WORK them.
Also they are not 'evil', maybe some of the people who 'play' with them are but the boards themselves are 'not'.
I have never had any problems with my board, neither have any of my friends with theirs. But then maybe thats because we know what we are doing.
Anyone thinking about trying out a 'ouija board' should learn the do's and don'ts before using it.
And please never be under the influence of alcohol.
They can be a good 'tool' in the right hands.

I've heard soo many horror stories involving those things and i wont ever play with one. If you have ever watched Discovery Channel's A Haunting they sometimes have people tell their real life stories and some of them started when they messed around with ouiji boards, they invite evil demons that will haunt you forever if you dont know how to get rid of them...

Yeah, I watched some people play it and pretend to move the thingy to get answers, they acted real freaked out. Nothing happened, I think they were full of s**t. That was about twenty five years ago. Your mind is a powerful thing, and you'll believe what you want to believe. My opinion is don't waste your time with it and YOU be in control of your life. Play Cranium, it's more fun. Some people believe it's dangerous, it's important that you respect their beliefs (like if your parents don't want it in the house, don't bring it in the house).

Yes and yes. Please throw that horrible conductor of evil energy out of your house asap. ASAP!!!!!!!!! there are some things people should just not mess with, whether its "imagination" or "ghosts" I ma telling you, evil "spirits" can and will come through that thing. Smash it, braek it, throw it out, for the safety of your mind! I really don't care if everyone on here thinks I'm nuts. Oujia boards are not for play.

I've heard a convincing story about them.
You should be able to DELIBERATELY attract things into your life by making firm decisions about what you think if you ever decided to "play" with one.
You can attract frivolous and dangerous "thoughts".
I'll just leave them alone.

I believe it man. The same spirit keeps coming to my board though. Its some wierd *** black dude. I get all freaked out when were done playing cuz I think its for real. I think its fun though.
