The best way really is to observe those already dancing. Focus on the one whose movements you can imitate and then get to the dancefloor.
Another way is to stand with feet firmly on the floor. Feel the rhythm of the bass. Move your head forward and backward in time with the beat and then left and right. Move your shoulders, the arms and hands in opposite directions and always with the beat. Make a pattern of your movements. Then do the same with your feet. After a while, other people will follow you. And you will all have fun!! That is what club dancing is all about.

Oh, you have it easier than you think. All a guy how to do is get behind a girl and just move with her.
So, at clubs there is big time grinding. Well, at least at the clubs around New York.
So first, pick a girl you want to dance with. Watch out because some girls are kind of skanky and they will move again if you try and dance with them.
1. You could either ask her if you could dance with her or
2. You could just grab her hand and get behind her and start dancing.
Either way is fine. Whichever you feel comfortable with. Most guys dont even ask me to dance, they just go for it.
So first, get really close behind her so that her back is right up against your chest. Put one of your hands on her hipbone/stomach. You could hold her other hand in the air, or down near her waist. The girl will be doing her own thing, and you both just have to be on the same beat. One of the most awkward things is if you are both on different beats. Girls also dont like when guys stand too far away. Let her know that you are close, and there.
If the girl is a good dancer and she puts her hands on her knees so that she is leaning foward, or if she puts her hands on the ground, then you should hold her waist with both hands. If it seems right, you could even hold her thighs.
Dont be afriad to do different things. It might get a little boing is you are holding her the same way the whole entire time.
IF the girl turns around and is facing you then you can put your hand on her back and pull her in close. Some girls might do this, but not that often. If they are trying to do that "frontal grind" they probably are pretty into you, so dont be afraid or shy.
Oh, and good luck. and have confidence. Girls rely on guys to approach THEM at clubs, so just go for it

Well it all depends on the vibe of the music or the beat of the song. So if it's a hip hop song, just do a little 2 step. You may not even know what you are doing but it will sure look like it! lol. So just act nonchalant. If it's rock, just bob your head and dance around. Try and blend in with the crowd instead of practicing dances because then you will look rehearsed and everyone will notice that you do not know how to dance. So to avoid the embarrassment, just act as if nothing is wrong and do your own little dance to the song, but don't go wild. Hope your do well!! lol

You don't need to learn, just dance as you feel comfortable. You can also talk lessons in funk and hip hop from some dance studios, but clubbing is more about having fun.

MOVE ANY WAY YOU WANT PEOPLE HAVE DIFFERENT DANCES AND U CAN DANCE ANY WAY YOU WANT ANY WAY PEOPLE ARE NOT LOOKING BECAUSE THEY ARE DANCING AS WELL
