I d like to move on to better job and postion but since alot of company ask people to come in person and apply for job.
How do they expect hard serious worker to come in and apply for job when they are at work else where?

Either find a way to apply on-line, or use your vacation days to find a new job...

Just how bad do you want to change jobs. It sounds like you are making excuses for yourself. Of course if you never apply you will never get turned down, you won't get the job either.

If you really want to change be sick for a morning or afternoon or whatever it takes, after all how long does it take to have an interview.

Yeah, somehow these employers and their HR have these expectations, realistic or impractical, it's their call. You want the job, you show up. Your inconvenience? Sorry, not their concern.

One way for you is to quit first and then start looking. It may be a bad idea but do you have a better choice?
