In Yahoo! Mail click the 'Compose' button and it shows you a page for an email address, subject and a message. Fill all that in and then click attach file and locate the picture you want to be sent.

if you use outlook to send emails.... then all u do is right click the picture file in windows (where ever you saved it) and select the Send To option on the pop up menu. Then select Mail Receipient.
XP will ask you whether you want to resize the picture or just attach as it is. Fill in the email add and click send.

A very simple way to do it is to go to your pictures folder, highlight the picture you want to send and in the left hand panel on that window, a series of options will appear. One of these options is "e-mail this file".
Click on this and it will automatically attach it to a new e-mail for you. All you have to do is put in you recipients adress.
Alternatively you could download and try "Picasa" from Google. This has a lot of options within.

Quickest way is highlight photo ,right click, scroll to --send to, and scroll -- to mail recipient and click, and what happens now is self explanatory.
