When i first got my G5 laser mouse it had extremely exception accuracy. Within a few days it seemed to be less accurate on small moves and now i will move it slightly and sometime the cursor even jitters in a direction i wasn't moving. This seems to happen with all mouses. Is there any way to keep the exceptional accuracy of the first day?

You may be collecting dirt in the ball part. I NEVER encounter such problems as I only use Kensington Expert Mouse trackballs.
The latest one has optical tracking and is as smooth as silk to operate, and perfect for graphics work (Photoshop).

The one I use is the K64325

One great advantage is, that I never run out of deskspace, having to pick up and move a mouse.

Have you thought of trying a new battery???

The old one may just be "getting tired"!!
