interstellar travel needs high speeds even more than the fastest speed which the human reached because the age of the humans are limited i think the engines which can work with the hydrogen fusion is great

If we could achieve something like 95% of lightspeed, we could get to rather a large number of stars and return within the lifetime of a person on Earth.
However........ If we -could- achieve that kind of speed, the time dilation (which is proportional to
√(1-v²/c²) where v is the velocity of the ship and c is lightspeed) would allow a person on the ship to reach a *huge* number of stars and return during their lifetimes. At 95% of lightspeed, 10 years on the ship would be about 102 years on Earth.

impulse engines:
impulse engines work by periodically igniting a nuclear explosion in one direction to boost speed, though accaleration is small, the boosted effects of multiple nuclear explosions will enable travel at high speeds.
in the 1970 and 80ies the us experimented with such propulsion for hte use of launching objects into space. they calculated that for every rocket launched you would actually kill 24 people with radiation. so they lay the research to rest.
not havign any atmosphere or biosphere around to damage, impulse engines could be used to accelerate spacecrafts

i think of that the main hurdle to interstellar return and forth - different than for the super no super lengths of time to realize a celebrity - may be the undeniable fact that - atleast at modern - there's no longer a dedicated attempt - like in the process the race to the Moon in the 60s to accompplish this activity. yet by fact that we are coping with such an limitless project , it is going to finally, i think no longer be conceivable for the U. S. or Russia or China to circulate it on my own - i think it is going to ought to be a joint attempt and as we at the instant are not precisely trusting of our pals i do no longer see this occurring every time quickly.

Well! maybe we can compress hydrogen into a smaller cylinder it may make traveling even faster because we could contain more hydrogen gas inside the main cylinder and install more computers in the new space shuttle that's being designed at this moment to energize the massive engines also being built at this moment.
