I am very interested in this guy and we have been out a few times, including once with my friends. But the other night when we went out he told me that he is giving up on dating and that he can never meet the right girls. I have to admit I was pretty crushed, because I wanted more, namely a relationship. Afterwards we were sitting in his car talking and he told me that I'm so great and that he loves spending time with me because he knows that I find the things he says and does funny, and do not get scared away by him being himself and that we have the same type of personalities. I feel the same way about him, I know that I can always be myself with him and that he makes me laugh, and happy. I guess I'm not sure what he means because when he said he was giving up dating I took it to mean that he just didn't want to date me, but then he made me second guess it when he told me how great he thought I was. Does he have feelings for me or does it seem like he just wants to be friends?

sorry he wants to be friends. if he stated he is giving up dating cause he can't find the "right" girl? then u ain't it hunny. he said those nice things to u so u would realize he does value spending time with u but not in a relationship. a friendship. let him go and just be a friend. go find u another man to date.

ask him out on a date...
i don't know if he has feelings for you or not.. he contradicted himself by saying he doesn't want to date, then turning around and telling you how great you are.
maybe he's just disappointed that he hasn't found someone yet, and was hinting that he'd like to try dating YOU?
