Last night, I shaved my pubic hair, I applied shaving cream and a razor and got all the hair off, and now I really do not like it. How long will it take for it to grow back, does pubic hair grow faster than head hair, and also will I see any noticeable growth in 1 week down there?

Answers to these 3 questions will get the 10 points.

Oooh...you're in for some itching in the next few days. You should of posted something about this before you actually shaved it off. I would of suggested trimming the hair with scissors, since you can't get razor bumps, redness, and it won't itch. It will typically take a little over a month to grow back, and you should start seeing growth by the next day, sometimes even by the end of the day. As for which grows faster, the head hair or the pubic hair, that I don't know, since everyone's different. I would say...pubic hair generally grows faster, but for some people it might be the other way around. Anyway, good luck.

The good news is that it will grow back. The bad news is that you'll have a rather uncomfortable couple of weeks and the hair will not get the soft tapered ends that make them non-prickly for several weeks.

It's not possible to give you a firm timeline, as people vary in how fast their hair grows, same as they vary in other ways. The AVERAGE growth rate for head hair is about half an inch a month. Pubic hair may grow more slowly than that.

Hang in there. Aloe vera gel may help sooth the irritation while it's growing back. Good luck - and don't do it again!

it will take a few weeks to grow back, im afraid, depending on how smooth it is. Its like the hair on your head, but you'll notice it growing more when it happens, because you're looking out for it! Pubic hair actually grows back slower than the hair on ur head... and it is possible you will see a difference in a weeks time, but really not that much. maybe 0.5 cm!

sorry friend! At least you know for next time!

You will notice new growth within a few days. It will start itching and getting red. I dont believe hair down there growns any faster. Will probably take several weeks for it to grow back fully. In the mean time I recommend not wearing underwear when you can get away with it so it doesn't rub on the new growth.and make it even more itchy.

pubic hairs actually grow faster than those on ur head & i believe they begin to grow back the very next day after shaving!! so, in a week time u will start having hair back there.

I think pubic hair grows back faster than regular hair but I can't say for sure because I have never shaved my head. You will notice growth back fairly soon I think. It might be kind of prickly and might cause itching when your underwear rubs against it.

You can go to the store and buy a feminine anti-itch cream. Just make sure to put it on the outside, and no-where near the inside of your vagina. The only crappy thing is, I found I had to use it often for it to not itch much. After you shave a few times, the itching will get more bearable and not as noticable, at least this is what I've found.

the texture will be slight different from the first time, it takes number of week to grow, it depend on individual, some are faster and some are slower, you will see slight grow in a week.
