I don't know, but it most probably was a piece of metal.
But next time so you won't worry so much, turn the chair over and see what it was. That would have been what I would have done. But I feel that you are OK, just be more careful next time and check thoroughly.

probably just a piece of metal- if the chair was upholstered with fabric or leather they would have used staples. Think about what it would take to affix a needle under a chair in a casino and why someone would bother to do so- the liklihood of that happening is low.
If you remember where you were seated, you can always call the casino and ask them to contact you if they see anything. If you did get a cut, be sure to keep it clean and apply some polysporin to avoid infection.

there is a very slim chance of drugs or needles being in a casino=WHY=there is a room where 2 people sit and watch by camera, everything that goes on down on the gambling floor
you may have caught yourself on a staple or a nail=if it gets infection head for the hospital for a shot=if you haven,t had your boosters caught up in the past 5 years go in for a tetanus shot anyway

I HIGHLY doubt that you punctured your hand on a drug needle. Most likely it was a staple they use on the cushion. If you are unsure, just look under your chair, you will see that many contain staples. Just to let you know, most needles (for injections) are so sharp you can barely feel them.

Most likely it was a staple. I had heard about needles in movie theatre chairs years ago but I think it was a big hoax.
No proof.

You thought it might be a dirty needle and you didn't look to see if you'd been stuck? There could be most anything except an 18 wheeler under there. You should have looked.

Although it is possible, it is not probable. It was more than likely just a stable that held the fabric on there. If you are that concerned, go to a doctor and get it checked out, although it is probably nothing.

Highly unlikely. what you felt was a staple under the seat which holds the seating material on.
