No, that has already happened to me while going to a doc appointment, I just stood patiently in the elevator until the doors opened up on their own. I was inside for about 15 minutes. I am glad I was alone because I know other people would not have been so calm. =)

No. Elevators have to have help buttons and telephones inside of them. Plus this has happened to me at least a total of a dozen times. Usually the Fire Department just comes and moves it down. The ride down is a little scary though! That's why they have handles though!
