I am female and like heavy metal. some women are more interested in how the song 'feels' while I'm happy as long as I understand the lyrics - don't really care if they're good or bad!! Metallica rules baby!!!!

I enjoy listening to most of the heavy metal songs from the late 60's through the early 90's Last year I made a compliation of over 100 of my favorite songs from that genre and I'm a baby boomer!. However some of the music today has become more misogynist and very mean spirited. A lot of it sounds like distorted noise rather than music (Yes, I know metal usually has a hard edge to it) and I don't see what people hear in death metal!

I guess because they are more interested in pop, jazz, country, or R&B than metal. Some only like classic rock or soft rock. However I am a girl and I listen to any type to rock, even metal.

because most women are full of love and joy...
or atlease so they say.
but I like sum stuff and mostly the goths/punks/rockers who are girls still have that sweet side to them and arent as rough as they look.
talk about having no women in the world and the world would end up like that.

i guess they like "softer" girlier stuff like r n b or pop...(that i personally cant stand, i mean give me metallica over beyonce anyday...)

I have no idea...maybe they're too much into fluff n' stuff. Me...I love it and many, many other genres.
