Who wants an Alliance with someone they can't count on when the going gets tough?

Our reputation as an ally will be lost.

In this war of ideologies, hate if you will, the attackers look for weaknesses to exploit. They have the best propaganda machine around, good enough to make the clitoons jealous, Commie News Network makes up stories in Lebanon and does what hezbollah tells them to do,

The go after the socialist minority in AMerica because they know they will fold up like a cheap suit and they know that the Democrats have folded to the socialists.

Our enemies, outside as well as inside America, only respect determination and strength of character. They are following their moral compass, but we falter, we attack religion here with a viciousness unseen before, our enemies see that as a point in their favor. Our enemies within have no moral compass, it is all about me, feeling good, today.

Our allies, Britain and Israel, will most likely stand by use regardless, good allies do, but any others who thought it would be good to be friends with us will think twice.

The freedom fighters in Iran are watching this very closely. When the fighting escalates they are going to need money and arms. Will they turn to us for help if we turn our backs on Iraq? doubtful, but you know Russia is always willing to help over in that part of the world. Why do our enemies within not see this.

Who wants allies that don't stand up with you when they should? We went into Iraq and accomplished all the military objectives as quickly and as well as could have ever been imagined. Then the political/religious (always linked co protagonists in the Mid-East) situation prevailing in Iraq and the entire area allowed private militias within and infiltration of foreign agents from other countries to cause the chaos that the US military is now trying to manage. The Iraqis are now pawns and sometimes participants in a de facto internecine war between Islamic groups. This has been going on since shortly after Muhammad died and it is part ans parcel of THEIR lives and history. We should let them continue to fight this out no matter what the outcome in Iraq may be OR declare and pursue war against Iran and Syria (at least) while demanding that Jordan, Saudi Arabia, Pakistan, Afghanistan, Turkey and even all the remainder of our worldwide 'allies' commit significant forces to aid the cause. If our 'allies' choose to not support the effort then they can also become the enemy and be erased as a functioning country. This IS the way to win a war, not running around like sissies and allowing the enemy to nibble away at you and bankrupt your country morally, politically and economically in the process. (Please read the capitalized 'OR' above before condemning my ideas.) Give me many allies, few enemies and no bystanders!

Doen't blindly following the advice of an idiotic failure of a President like so many lemmings marching towards imminent death kind of make us look weak to our allies an enemies anyway? I mean, our President lacks the ability to speak in complete sentances, our Vice President can't even go on a quail hunting excursion without nearly killing another hunter, our Secretary of State was promoted only after dropping the ball and letting clear warnings on the possibility of an on-soil terrorist attact pile up on her desk and you're worried that the majority of the nation who just want to end this nonsese is going to make us look weak.

We already look weak... and it's the fault of so many unqualified people in charge. It's not cutting and running, it's finally doing something smart after years of letting someone so obviously stupid make the calls.

I wonder how much of a supporter of this war you would still be if it were your kid over there getting shot at and not poor people's kids and the children of minorities?

The libs don't care, they'll cut and run,cut the military to the bone( as they did under Clinton ), sell our ships, tanks and planes as junk.
Send a very small force to DARFUR,to prove how caring they are,get their A$$e$ kicked ( just like Somalia ) and run like hell from there.
Thereby proving we are a PAPER TIGER and our allies will know we can't be trusted and our enemies will be encouraged to cause trouble.
In a few years an American city will be Nuked by a suitcase bomb and we'll have NO idea where it camefrom.

The terrorists are not as active in killing our allies as our troops are, just look at the 3 Afghani Policemen today, the 6 British Soldiers a few months back and then we hide away from accountability.

Lady, get your facts straight.........

This is not a war on terror. In his book War and Globalisation:
The Truth behind September 11, Michael Chossaduvsky,
Professor of Economics,Ottawa University held that US war
on terrorism was an intelligence ploy to drum up support for
Anglo American war of conquest. We have got a proverb in
India "If you commit a mistake even your father will not be
spared".
The Bush Adminstration''s handling of some events in the run up
to 9/11 clearly betrays a pattern of lies, deception and spin
to provide a credible casus belli for the anglo american
war mongers to invade Iraq.
If you commit a mistake you must annul that mistake at
the earliest.

Not getting bin Laden made us look weak to the terrorists. Going into Iraq for no good reason has weakened our alliances.

That would be a misnomer. "Cut and Run" -
"Cut and experience the after shocks" would be more apropos.
History supports that.
Look at the USSR and Bin Laden.
China and Japan.

So now the allies do count? There's not one ally around who doesn't see the whole Iraq war as the biggest failure in US foreign policy ever.

Instead of using childish buzzwords and terms like cut and run you might wanna realize any day that America continues to stay in Iraq, brave young American men and women are dieing to save the face of a failed white house.

Try your simple and easy rhetoric on some people who have lost loved ones on this mistake

If ten years from now we are still in Iraq and the situation on the ground is the same, will it be "Cutting and Running" then too?
When will it be ok to call Iraq a lost cause and bring our soldiers home to their country and waiting families!?
