healing time varies for each person. You are looking at a minimum of three months to recuperate. Realize it may take longer. You should ask your doctor what he feels is your recovery time from what he has seen of the tear.

walking is hard to do for the first 2 months. people i know that tore them were in cast & crutches for atleast one month. My father had his cut during a sugery on his foot and it took him 5 or 6 months before he was completely back to normal. its definatly a LONG recovery time!
