Many people "say" there is such a law - but nobody - not even a judge in a court of law can provide "solid" proof in any law book stating that there IS such a law? Can you show me the law that says there IS a law - if so, please provide ALL of us with that info cause we'd like to SEE if for ourselves!

In canada, we had legislation that allowed the government to collect income tax untill the war debt was paid. They got used to handling all that money and giving a little back, with election promises, that now it has grown into an institution of it's own. There will never be discontinuence of that law, bet on it.

There have been many arguments that question the legality of the Federal Income Tax, all have been shot down by the likes of the Supreme Court. We thank Cecil Adams of The Straight Dope for the cite, below, which I hope will set things straight.

First of all, your premise is incorrect, there are such laws.

Second, they have guns, and Waco, Ruby Ridge, and the entire Civil War suggests they're willing to use them on you.

As other responders have correctly noted, there ARE laws, and these are explicitly authorized by the 16th Amendment to the Constitution.
