The anti-global warming fanatics can’t be persuaded by concerns about national security, facts, reason or ethics.

The retired military leaders “called on the U.S. government to make major cuts in emissions of gases that cause global warming.”

The political stance of the naysayers will motivate them to criticize the generals, find some obscure skeptic’s study, make up some implausible reason for global warming or just denounce it as a liberal plot.

NO. The military's job is to protect us from foreign aggression. They're not climatologists. We need to cut global emissions agreed and use economically, environmentally friendly renewable energy resources but let all the climatologists come forward publically in one common voice and tell us the severity of the situation. I don't believe anything that comes from this government nor the media anymore. They're both proven liars. It's painfully obvious we cannot trust our government. Nor should we.

Get your head out of the sand and your @ss out of the air. When you make a statement, check it out. No one on the "anti-global warming" side said the world is not getting warmer. It is. We just suspect (cannot prove, but suspect) that it is a natural change of climate. After all the earth has warmed and cooled in the past. You Gore suckers are saying that, without a doubt, it is a result of things man is doing and we should rush to stop this disease. You Gore suckers do not stop to think that the world can't even stop one nation from developing nuclear weapons and for any "CURE" to approach success, the ENTIRE WORLD would need to abide by the "cure agenda". Once the entire world started abiding, then WOULD THE CURE BE WORSE THAN THE DISEASE? You Gore suckers want to predict the weather for the next hundreds of years and we have qualified meteorologists that can't predict it for the next 24 hours. No, I'm afraid you Gore suckers are not going to be able to sell your medicine, at least not to this "anti Gore sucker".

So, is Bush going to use the military to fight global warming as effectively as he used them to fight terrorism?

What's the use. We're all doomed.

Congrats! You've posted a completely irrelevant article. Look up the differences between global warming and man-made global warming.

The debate is the cause, not the effect.

There is NO Global Warming........... in Hannity's America.
Everybody lives in a hole under a flat rock, so Global Warming doesn't affect them at all.
The hot sun warms their rocks, how snug and cosy.

We have ALWAYS believed in Global Warming and Cooling. We just disagree that MAN is the 100% cause of it like Al Gore says we are.
The planet goes through natural cycles. Always has, always will.

The only problem with that argument is that the military believes what they are told to believe. If the President is on board with "climate change" then it's their job to be on board.
