has there been peace in the area for the last say 5000 years? NO. Will there ever be peace in the area ? PROBABLY NOT. Why ? Because these people all read the same koran , but chose to read it differently so they can commit crime to their own satisfaction, than claim it to be in the name of allah. Is it the right way? To us , no .To them Yes,as this is the way they have lived for many millenniums.I doubt we in our lifetimes will see peace in this region, and I would put money they wouldn't notice allies withdrawn from there without our news media making a big deal. The seem to be able to kill each other quite well on their own.And we wouldn't have to do the dirty work for other arab nations

Just don't FK'n worry about what they do in their part of the world as the United States has proven again under FK'n Bush and company that you don't force your laws on other countries. The world is a better place when Bush and PNAC FK'n cowards like Dickless Cheney, Karl Rove and many other believe in world military domination by the United States. They can go F'K themselves as they are nothing but a bunch of FK'n Armchair Warriors that have never seen military action in their worthless lives.
Big Fat Dickless Cheney got 5 FK'n deferrments till he finally got his wife pregnant so that he wouldn't have to go to fight in Vietnam. George Walker Bush got daddy to get him into the Texas National Air Guard where the Coke snorting and Alcoholic was AWOL for the last year and a half of his six year service. And these FK'n cowards who know nothing of War, have put other lives at risk for their lies and insanity, well F'K them all.

Neither. We're trying to stop a war they've been fighting amongst themselves for centuries. I think the outcome of everything depends on the people who live there. They don't seem to have the ambition to fight for themselves unless they're fighting over who has the right interpretation of their shared religion. I believe that will continue whether we pull out or not.

Neither. They don't know the meaning of the words. The US at the moment is only making things worse. They need to sort it out themselves.
We now know why Saddam had such a repressive regime. The only way to keep the bastards in line.

Civil war will be followed by a regional war. The whole world will take sides. Then Jesus will come.

People in Iraq won't notice a difference whether you are there or not.
That's why nobody knows what you are fighting for.

It is really up to the Iraqi people, isnt' it?
We can't stay forever (although I am sure the Bush crowd would love it if we did).
