Of course: Australia is the best nation. But what do you outsiders think? When will you join us in the 'lucky country'.

I feel sorry for anyone unlucky enough not to live here.

First, I thought that Ireland was the lucky country, hence the term, "Luck of the Irish."

Second, I thought that Australia was full of all of the descendents of the criminals that England shipped off of their island, with the exception of the Australian natives.

Have you ever been outside of your country? Since I've not yet been to Australia, I can't say that my country is better. I can only go by what I read, and even that gives me a good indication that I might not want to live there.

Having got that out of the way, I'm sure you've got a lovely country to visit and your tourism would probably do better if you found a little modesty.

Most all of the sailors i knew in the last thirty years really enjoyed Australia . The people make the difference any where you go in the world ,especially in Australia, they are polite , friendly and will make a point to say hello if they know you are an American .(they still love Americans) . you will love it if your going to visit there . and here is a plus they speak English !

We can't support too many more being the driest continent. If they knew how good it is, we'd be inundated.
