I got a Lily for Easter and I really need to plant it. What is the best way? ie: direct sun, patial sun, morning sun, evening sun, soil type. I want to do this as soon as I can because I don't want it to die.

The only thing that I would add is to not plant it deeper than it is in the pot you received it. Does that make sense? You don't want the stem to be set in the ground below the level of the soil in the pot.

And it will likely not bloom again this year. Just so you know.

So long as they have some sun lilies are ok.

Make sure you plant it deep enough - min 12 inches

Just get it dug in well with a good compost and well drained area. Mines have sun all day and there fine. Some have partial sun in the morning and there fine too.

A Lily plant can be planted almost any where. As long as there is good drainage. They are a very hardy plant.
