It is not wrong to decide not to color your hair. But if you have not done so because you have given up on your appearance then I think it is self destructive. Sometimes the outside helps the inside. So, do your hair, and your nails, put on some make up and wear a clean outfit. Remember the good times that you had with your husband. Keep up your appearances it will make you feel better, and remember that grief is a personal thing, you don't need the approval of anyone to miss your husband.

I think that you should continue to do the things that make you feel good. If you only colored your hair because you wanted to look good for your husband and you really don't care what color your hair is then I would say forget about it. I think it is much deeper then this. Your hurt and I am sure in a lot of pain over the passing of your loved one, this is normal and most likely the reason why you don't care, your probiley drained physically, mentally and emotionally and don't have the energy, which is understandable; but you need to take care of yourself, the better you feel about you, the quicker you will regain a somewhat normal life. You deserve to look good, and there is absolutely nothing wrong with it! So either way it is not wrong, color or no color it is and should be what you want for yourself! Truly sorry for your loss. Take care of you and yours. Daisy

No it isn't wrong to color your hair and do other things to take care of yourself.
I am sorry to know your husband passed. But you are still here with us, you have to do what's right for you. Take one day at the time.
It would not be such a bad idea to talk to someone outside the family, about how you feel, to recenter your life, you know.

Good luck to you.

I am sorry to hear your situation. It is not important whether you color your hair or not, it is as you want to do. What is important is that you take care of yourself at this time. Not let yourself go in ways that will be to your detriment in the future, such as keeping up with medical checkups. You can resume coloring your hair if you wish. Take care.

Am sorry for your loss. You should know that if your husband were still here that he would want you to continue to take care of yourself. See your Dr. Everyone needs a little help now and then. No shame in that.
