The obliquity of the ecliptic ensures that our earth will end. and very soon.
the obliquity of the ecliptic is the angle between that of the earths orbit to that of the celestial equator.
this angle moves between 21 and 24 degrees, when it reaches 21 there are major catastrophes, and when it reaches 24 there are major catastrophes also, currently the angle is nearing 23.7 degrees.
This means the north pole will shift, and currently is shifting at more than two miles a week.
This is how we ended up with the last ice age etc. it will happen slowly at first, like we are getting now with extreme weather, then it will happen very quickly. There is nothing we can do about it. Climate change is not just down to us, it is a natural happening that occurs every 10.000 or so years.

Sure, our world will end. And I stress, OUR world. the humans. People have predicted the end of the world as long as it has existed. Sure, we may die, but there is the bigger picture to look at. Bigger than humans trampling upon the earth and using all of it's resources for themselves. The environment will some day recover, and the world will live on. Humans think they are somehow special and immune to this rule. We think we are the most important asset to the earth. But we are not. So we will all die, and the organisms that created life will go on, to evolve into different beings. And we think we know it all and are the best things that have happened to this world? I think not. I believe in life. And it will go on. Whether you or I exist or not. We are but teardrops in the ocean. And I plan to appreciate every moment I exist. I am not waiting for some imaginary heaven to fall into. This is all I believe I have . And I am going to make the most of it!

I think the world as we know it will end at some point, however, the actual earth (planet) will probably still be here, but not in same condition. As far as how it will happen.. well that is just not for us to know yet, so any number of speculations could be right, or wrong.

Yes. When the sun has depleted it's stores of hydrogen, it will burn out. The earth and all the planets will turn into ice spheres. Will happen in a few million years or so.
All of the religious 'armageddon-type' endings are just fables.
Think of the countless claims made by different groups throughout history. They gave exact dates of the end of the world and those dates passed. We're still here.

Well sure - physics tells us that eventually the sun will go supernova, and when that happens, looks like the end of the line for this particular ball of rock. We might end up killing off our own species, as we're pretty adept at killing things, but the world itself will go on without us, because I don' t believe it's only here because of us. Will we still be the dominant species on the planet when the sun goes bang? Probably not. Will it matter at all? Probably not.

The world will end in around 5 billion years, when our sun will supernova. By that time, human beings will have been extinct for a long, long time.

According to christian belief, the world has already ended. The ones still here are just in denial. We wish they would hurry up and leave which would make the world a better place.

The world is not going to end- let alone by any divine influence.
Why would a loving god kill his people.
There could of course be famine/ rising waters/ earthquakes/ tsunamis. but thats hardly the end of the world :)
