Since the very morning that the time changed to daylight savings, I have been so tired in the mornings. I can't seem to get going like I was prior to that. I go to bed at the same time everynight, but in the mornings instead of waking up rested, I can barely make myself get up. My husband is feeling the same way. He suggested I ask and see if we're the only ones, or if it is effecting others the same way. It doesn't seem like it should matter, but we have noticed this since day one!!!

I find it hard to get up because it is so dark outside. We get up about 5:30am and it is quite awhile before it gets light. Right before the time changed it was getting light at that time. Now it is after 6:30, and it seems like it is still night. I am a morning person also, but now I am so tired! JET lag?

I know, you all have really helped me to see that at least it is not all in our heads. I am thinking it is worse this year because it even started earleir than usual. I love to get up early and I can't even make myself get up til about an hour later. I just feel all draggy! Usually it just takes a few days to get back in the swing of things, but this year it is taking forever. I don't think they save any energy this way! I am thinking of moving to Arizona...they don't have DLST! lol

Yes, I have felt the same way. And I am not a morning person so the time change makes even harder for me to get up in the morning. Thank God for the snooze button! I set my alarm for about 30 minutes before I really need to get up and hit the snooze and go back to sleep. I trick myself into thinking I have gotten more sleep.

You are definitely not alone. I have always had this problem. It usually takes a month or more to get my body clock straight for the next 6 months.

I would think it is similar to jet lag and the time changes when you fly.

Good Luck on feeling "Perkier soon".

Wow! My wife and I, as well as several of our friends, have been feeling this way, starting with the very DAY daylight savings started! We had a brief discussion about it and passed it off as a number of things, including a few coincidences, but now I'm wondering again... This is odd!!!

For me it has been easier to get out of bed sooner.
It must be the advantage of being a morning person.
I hope you are able to make the adjustment.

You are not alone, I also have been feeling rather tired. I don't want to get out of bed either. I guess it just takes time to adjust to this new change.

I was thinking it was due to my illness or medication, now that I think of it, it has been since daylight savings that I've REALLY been so tired that I can't even function minimally.
