Injection to be injected may be during mens. and it works up to 3 month.

The medication is called Depo-Provera. It can only be given at times when your doctor KNOWS you can't be pregnant. Usually right after your period ends.

I was on it for four years and I would never ever ever recommend anyone to get on it.

Mood swings, weight gain, loss of libido, etc.

I am on Kariva (pill) now and have not had any of the horrible side affects I had on depo.

You also need a bone density check since depo really messes with your bone health.

There is a birth control shot, Depo-provera. Each dose (shot) last 12 weeks.
