People are funny. The street signs are the memorial of the beautiful LIVING trees that USED TO live in that area until they chopped it down.
Ok, I have to be fair here. In some cases, when a new subdivision is built, the developers simply build roads around the areas slated for housing. They have to call the streets something so it goes like this "Hey Joe, any ideas for street names on this one?" " Lets go with the trees series, that one is the least problematic of all.
The number series will have people not buying anything of the number 4, 13, or 14 because of superstitions. Names of flowers are also a good choice.
