Don't not buy an intercooler. All of the current available ones only push air in, forcing the inner 360 fans to spin faster, to their limit as a matter of fact. They have been known to cause more problems, than fix. There will eventually be better intercoolers available.

The pros are: has Gears of War, will have Halo 3, an other great games that I don't feel like listing. If you are planning to buy this system, I assume you know wha games there are/will bet. It is a strong system. It has HD right out of the box, unlike PS3, which needs separately sold component cables or something. Bigger hardrive than other consoles on the market . Also, it was the first system of it's generation to be released, so Microsoft has worked out all the kinks. Microsoft is great at getting exclusive titles, so there will always be great games that you wont be able to play on other systems. Just look at PS3's Reisistance: fall of man vs. the 360's GEARS OF FREAKING WAR!. PS3 owners are missing out.

Cons: The 360 has been known to break down, but now that it has been out for a while, I seriously doubt there are any faulty systems on the market . They will fix it for free anyways. You already seem to know, it may overheat, so you have to keep it in an area where it can get good airflow.

All in all, I think you won't be dissappointed, an may I suggest putting up a little more money and buying the Elite.

Its better than the PS3...Don't buy the PS3...There is a cooling platform or something you can get for the 360...Also, the games are just better, with the best RPG ever made for a console, Elder Scrolls IV Oblivion, the game of the year. Also great sports games, etc...the same action games as the PS3...

PS3 has free multiplayer, but not a wide variety like the Xbox360, and less players. Xbox has more games like halo and more players on its LIVE system, but you have to pay for LIVE. I recommend PS3, its growing, and multiplayer is free :D

Hi, i bought a xbox 360 at xmas, but to be honest i've hardly touched it. There is hardly any games to it, and everyone i've rented to try always seems to fall short of my expectations. It does have some cons tho, on fighting games it has more things going on like more enemys and background action, but i still fell unsatisfied and now im lookin to trade in for the ps3. I think the ps has more games scope and i loved loads of games off the ps2 so i think it'll be better for me. Hope this helps!

Your best bet is to search the question "problems with xbox 360" or "help with xbox 360" See if there have been any recurring problems with the system then,,
You may also see whether or not the fixes are simple or not so simple.
