Like relatives and family. The idea just sort of clicks in and I automatically get more comfortable with other Asians. Probably because my mother had me call her friends my aunts and uncles and such... ^^'

Anyway, if you play video games, if you're Asian, you're automatically considered to be really good at games, as well as being either smart or talented in another way. Haha, I got into a guild due to being Asian once...

I think the 'smart' stereotype thing may come from the way our parents push us though. If I were to get a B, my first thought would be, "Uh oh! The broom!" x-x... I know that it's sort of the same way with a few other people. Except I think my mom would just ground me instead.

Oh, and, in response to another comment...... "Low-end" people? You're telling a lot of other people that they're then considered 'dumb'...

I've travelled to east and southeast Asia many times, and my view of Asians is a positive one. Most I've met are industrious, energetic, and probably more in tune with nature and things like proper nutrition, holistic healing, etc.

One thing I noticed on all my visits is that I didn't see too many obese people. Probably a combination of better diet, and more people there ride bicycles, walk, etc.

Asians generally appear to be astute businessmen.

I know some of these things sound like stereotypes, but I'm just reporting what I personally have seen and experienced. And I know this is not politically correct to say or believe, but stereotypes exist usually because there is at least a small grain of truth to them to begin with, otherwise they wouldn't have gotten started by someone in the first place.

In what way do you view peanut butter?

Sometimes it's chunky, sometimes it's smooth, sometimes peanut butter is oily, sometimes it's dry. Same with people, regardless of whether they are Asiatic or not.

What's your point?
