If it's a 50cc scooter (moped), then 16.
If it's a scooter over 50cc, but less than 33bhp, then 17.
If it's a scooter over 125cc, with unrestricted power, then 21.

NOTE: A 'scooter' is just a type of motorcycle, it does NOT refer to the engine cc.

In the UK its 16 but you have to take your CBT ( compulsery basic training ) + have a provisonal driving licence , + there is a limit on engine size and power think its nothing more than 50kws or less

In Britain I think it's 17. The Post Office might know.Or ask the DVLA at Swansea.

16 in Indiana - You've got to check your State's laws. Just call your local Department of Motor Vehicles - Its in the phone book.
