cosmology is the study of the universe and geology is the study of the earth.
As the earth is a small part of the universe they are related.
Hope this helped a little:)

cosmology is study of space and geology of our planet . They are bit related like the soil present in earth can be used to check the compounds in a meteor if that region is hit and can be used compare with of other planet to find are they from same group or latest suggestion that moon was separated from earth has been based on geological study of earth and cosmological study of moon soil.

Cosmology is the sudy of racks and minerals; cosmology the study of the evolution of the universe. The only relationship is that the earth formed from dust and rocks in space

Cosmetology and Geneology. Great Question. Just Joking.
Best Answer for you.
One way to look at this relationship is as follows, Many of the rocks that are out in the cosmos will become part of the geology of earth.
A great deal of space-dust falls unseen: each year, 40,000 tonnes of asteroid and comet débris falls to Earth, most of it as tiny particles called micrometeorites, less than 200 microns (thousandths of a millimetre) across.
The daily influx of meteorites and meteor dust is well known to scientists, but the total volume of mass daily added to Earth's surface is difficult to estimate and is not well documented. Estimates of total volume published by NASA vary widely (or wildly?) just for dust alone, ranging from as little as 1,000 tons/day (300,000 metric tons/yr, Dubin and McCracken, 1962) to 55,000 tons/day (20,000,000 tons/yr, Fiocco and Colombo, 1964). However, a more recent estimate puts the accreting dust volume at approximately 78,000 tons/yr, or 214 tons/day. This is the amount that accumulates on earth each day from particles that are only about 2mm in size.
Another way to relate the two would deal with the genesis of earth and the big bang theory.

cosmology is based on the whole universe and its laws
but the geology based on the planets (terrestrial planets)
of course they are related but i dont know how they can be related

Well Einstein, its the difference between rocks and the evolvement of space itself
