Do you still think that they deserve sympathy? Even serious criticism will not make any changes. This is Indian cricket.

Come on India!!!

It does not need any sympathy at all; because the failure against minnows like Bangladesh can not be excused or pardoned by any cricket loving fan. It was the result of sheer arrogance and over-confidence by the Indian team, while it was a systematic onslaught by the Bangladeshis.
The criticism by the media only echoes the high expectations by the whole of India on the men in blue. Had they come to the super-8 stage and lost against some better opposition like Australia or New zealand, the criticism would not definitely have been like the present one.
It is high time the Indian team is injected new blood by taking in new talent and bidding adieu to hapless seniors like Ganguly, Sachin, Dravid and Sehwag ! Such a stern action will be a lesson for all the future players !!!

good question
what indian cricket needs today is not sympathy or criticism, what it needs is enpowerment of its internal cricketing structure.

all indian cricketrs have low mental power to handle pressure & level of international cricket. What happened in WC might have happened somewhere else, but it was must to happen bcoz our problems would at last effect us at some point or other.
What we need is to send our "india-A" team again n again to world tours, give respect to upcoming line of young cricketers, train them on fast pitches (which can be made easily on our hill stations), make them to handle fierce pressure of international level & finally transform them into mature cricketers when they appear at the international levels.

But i know that all this will never happen in our country, & even we all indians (better hippocrates) will soon forget this WC tragedy & return to our routine trends & even one victory of india on its home pitches will clear off all our sorrows. Then we all will forget about our country's bad cricketing structure which will definitely lead to furthermore future defeats.

But still there is a small hope that something might will happen good & that only hope is directing me to write all this.

My friend i think the reason why indian cricket team performs badly is b'coz we give them too many things,at times sympathy and at times critisicm. So the best thing to do today is to do nothing and let the boys do their jobs.

I agree that india gained each and every format in cricket that no different us of a has accomplished..yet no person is the best all have same tale triumphing suits of their homestead situation and loosing in such situation which they don't seek for use to..i think of india needs to strengthen their bowling to be best in cricket..i think of best team replaced into australia from 2000-2009 while gamers like hayden,symonds,gilchrist,mcgrath,lee,lan... they have been triumphing in each and everything of the cricket enjoying us of a.

What the Indian team needs right now is serious backing. It is the pressure to perform at the big stage that let them down.If you are a true Indian fan ,support them even in crisis

what Indian team needs today is a little bit of sympathy & most of all they need peace, & they need to practice well for the upcoming bangladesh tour. So, no violence like many people do in India-burning players pictures etc. are to be avoided.

They don't need sympathy but yes we should help them come out of this bad patch by taking some harsh decisions as well as right counselling.
