If you had to compare your personality with any person, fictional or historic or famous, who would it be and why?

I think I would have to be a cross between Lizzy Bennet and Hermia.

Kilgore Trout...I'm the only one I know who realizes I'm a character in a book.

Jo March- Little Women
Hermione Granger-Harry Potter series
Jesse Reeves-Anne Rice's Queen of the Damned
Anne Shirley- LM Montgomery's Anne of Green Gables series
Belle- from the fairy tale Beauty and the Beast
the heroine of Elizabeth Kostova's The Historian

Mix well with a touch of Matt Groening's Lisa Simpson and Babylon 5's ambassador Delenn.

Oh, "to see ourselves as others see us"! :-D

Well, this is probably somewhere between what I'm really like and what I'd like to be...

A cross between Lizzie Bennet and my favourite Shakespeare heroine Beatrice (from "Much Ado About Nothing"), but with (I would hope) the courage of Emilia, who faces down both Iago and Othello when the chips are down at the climax of "Othello".

A cross between Jo & Beth March (from Little Women) and Eleanor Dashwood from Sense & Sensibility.
I'm very much a homebody, adore my family more than life itself and am quite sickly like Beth and try to be as sweet a person as I can be, but I'm also quite gobby like Jo and say the wrong things/be clumsy a lot of the time. I'm also very reserved like Eleanor, I hold my feelings in and bottle a lot up trying to deal with stuff by myself when really it'd probably be healthier sharing it.

I'm quite like Cassandra from I Capture the Castle. I saw the film for the first time this weekend and the actress playing Cassandra was terribly miscast - just didn't embody her character at all. Though I do like Lizzie Bennett too.

I always identified quite strongly with Myra from The Women's Room, and also Offred from the Handmaid's Tale. Both were characters who had overcome hardships to find some peace with themselves and with the world around them. They weren't necessarily the characters I most liked, in fact I would have much preferred to be like Val or Moira, but they were the ones that I could see bits of myself in. )0(

Beth from Little Women. She is a talented girl, who always looks on the bright side of life. Though I am not sick as she is, I find that her sickness may represent hard times in my life. She loves her family more than life or herself, and she never ceases to be happy even when something may be tearing her apart. I believe I am most like her in many ways.
