Am mid 20's and going through a divorce (strains of long distance relationship led to her infidelity). The only person I've really been able to talk to about this outside of family is an amazing young lady at work. We were already quite close but this brought us much closer. It culminated in us kissing for the first time around 5 - 6 weeks ago and we've both told each other several times we love each other. Problem is she is clearly torn. She's been in a 4-year relationship, is engaged, has a house, etc. etc. and doesn't want to hurt her fiance. I know the right thing would be to keep my distance until she knows what she wants, but there is such a strong feeling of attraction between us that it's proving very difficult. She's told me she owes it to him to make things work, yet tells me she has strong feelings for me and that I'm always on her mind. What should I do? What should she do? Both of our heads are a complete mess.

Youre jumping out of the frying pan and into a nice hot roaring fire my friend.A woman who shacks for 4 yrs and isnt married isnt using her head or has committment issues especially if she is unfaithfull to her shack up honey, just as your wife was to you.Why were you and your wife apart?Thats no way to have a marriage bud. Tell her you both need a break, find a job somewhere else and if she moves out of her b/f's gets a place of her own and lives on her own, you'll know she has made a mature decision, if she goes ahead and marries the guy or continues living with him, then she just wants security and will sacrafice what she'd rather have for it.The best thing to do is get out of that mess before her b/f finds out and stomps a mud hole in you son and she dumps you for him in the end.

You put it right. You both need attention and you seem to be getting it from each other. That doesn't mean that you're in love - this is honeymoon period and everything looks rosy.

You both should calm down, take your time, spend time away as much as you should and with other people and think what you both really mean to each other.

I remember a friend of mine having strong feelings for another guy at work for more than a couple of months (she had a husband at home with 2 kids), ended up spending a whole day with him, including a very intimate nightcap, woke up next morning and wanted to go back home and stay with her husband.

Been there and done that. My lady was actually married but yours sounds close to that.

Be her friend first and she is the only one that can make this decision. You don't have any control over this at all and had best accept that and just wait for your answer.

If you pressure for the answer it will be NO. That is a near certainty and if by the long shot it is Yes, you will always have doubts.

Be a friend First!

the decision is not going to be easy. but i'd say it's really up to the girl, no point marrying the guy, if her heart is still yours. yea.. but it could all juz be a little fling, as u said, she's e ONLY person tat u have talked to so far after ur failed marriage. know wat i mean?
