He may've retired. Both he and Awesome (RIP) were quite old, as a matter of fact, Mike hung himself after retiring.
If I could ever say someone put on a hardcore clinic, it was Mike and Masato. That's one of the few matches I could watch 100 times over

Hell No! I miss the old ECW. I mean, not that I honestly expected WWE's ECW rebirth to bring us exactly what we once saw! But at least ONE Extreme Rules Match a week wouldve been nice. Instead, they throw all their talent that they dont feel is ready for a push yet on ECW, and then put over all their new talent that they give a push, and let them squash the Originals. Only one ECW Originals has held the ECW World Title since its rebirth, which tells you something! The New Breed vs Originals is the best thing thats happened so far in ECW to date. I think this is drawing ratings, and the 4 vs 4 Extreme Rules Match was gold, they should keep that up!

I miss the old ECW not just the hardcore stuff but the wrestling itself. Tanaka is retired and does some booking in Japan. Awsome(RIP) retired to spend more time with his family. Its really sad what happened to him.
