You'd think a rich man could have it all? No. A poor man would have a better view of life. He has been/going through trying times, whereas the rich man has never known what it's like to starve, to be put up for the night by strangers, or to have to ask close friends for a free meal.
The poor man has experience. He has knowledge of the horrors and wonders of the world that no-one can buy.
This is my view on things with some help from my 8th grade English teacher.

A poor man has little that he is content with, a rich man wants contentment which he does not have despite having plenty.

A poor man has a wife who loves him the way he is, the way he loves. She is not with him for money,it is for love.A rich man wants a wife to love him the way he is, not to love him for what he has. Money does not buy love. You can replace money, but you can not replace a woman who loves you forever.
