travelled?

can you add an extra L when you spell traveled?
cuz that's how traveled was spelled in my text book. is it just a mistake or something?

American english = traveled
British english = travelled

both are correct dear !! it's a change americans made .. for no apparent reason ...

Typically the americans don't know how to spell... They've been ruining the English language for years.

type that up on google and if it corrects you then that means the one with the two L`s is correct.
