Pain is mostly about where you focus the minds "eye". I have worked with burn victims who were in great pain teaching them several techniques on how to redirect the energy to a more peaceful state through self-projection and breathing techniques. Emotional pain is a little more difficult for some to redirect as the emotional plane conflicts with the intellectual one. For me, personally, I have been subjected to a great amount, and am told I have an extremely high threshold...

Grin & bear it always. If you show them your weaknesses they will never stop using it.

I don't believe in 'grin and bear it', when it's much more self satisfying to slobber.

Just take it. It hurts less if you stay calm and breath properly. I also have a higher tolerance to pain then most people.
