You don't, you can leave any time you want. Just another rant, without a coherent supporting argument. Do you honestly think that politicians would be any better? The existence of the Monarchy prevents an over powerful Government, like the current one, taking absolute power. You need to study our Constitution, then you will see why they are there. It isn't the power they have, per se, it is the power they prevent others from achieving. Tony Blair uses the Queens transport more than she does. I sense the politics of envy from a lefty.

Don't get me wrong, I'm no royalist, but do you have any idea how much revenue liz the hun and phil the greek generate through tourism in places like windsor or around buck house etc, All those mad japs and overweight yanks with their cameras and tour guides spend a fortune in shops, bars, hotels, casinos, coach operators etc. You, my son, need to think out of the box a bit more!!!

You certainly don't speak for me. As for being German, I would agree back in 1720 - take a look at your calendar.
I don't want to see the Royal Family discontinued.
God Save The Queen.

They cost around 70 pence per person per year, if that is hurting you financially then write to the Queen and ask for your money back.
Here is her address:
The Queen,
Buckingham Palace,
Buckingham Palace Road,
London, SW1A 1AA
Personally I would rather have her in charge than President B£iar.

They do a huge amount of good work, help boost tourism and cost the taxpayer very little compared with other things. It's also part of our cultural heritage
