Don't sick children have enough to worry about already? Without some smelly old Greek guy trying to get them to study philosophy? At least let them get to feeling better before making them answer all those unanswerable questions!

Plato believed in non-physical ('platonic') same sex relationships. No Greek would have understood the idea of non physical relationships between the sexes.
In his last book, the Laws, he suggests criminalising homosexual acts.

Actually Plato was often in robust good health and his preference was most likely youths between fifteen and twenty, not quite the romper room set.
