My periods have always been irregular, for the most part they never stop. The last two months I have not had one at all. About 2 weeks after my husband and I had sex I passed an extemely large clot. Since then no period. This has now been 2 months. Every test is negative and I feel extremely uncomfortable too much of the time. The weirdest thing is the small flutter in my stomach, I obviously would not be feeling that yet.

It could be that a hormone imbalance of some sort could be causing the problem. Check with your dr to see what they think. If they are not willing to test for hormone imbalances then I would recommend getting a second opinion but preferably from a dr that does not share the same office as that of the dr you currently see.
