Why are men so insensitive when we feel fat?

Well if they are with you then they just hate hearing you put yourself down because they dont think of you like that, plus it really gets annoying hearing it after a while. Seriously though they dont care about how you think your fat, they like you for you, and wouldnt be with you if they thought you were fat in a bad way. They want you to have confidence in yourself, not put yourself down. Dont take it personally, guys just dont think about it like we do, and dont see us in the same way we see ourselves when we feel like that. Thats why when your feeling fat you turn to a female friend to talk about it, not a guy, they arent as sensitive as us, and dont look at things the way we do.

Yeah I have to agree you either know you're fat or not ......choosing carefully crafted statements to describe the way you look while you obviously are having a problem with it .....is just B,S....You're not fat you're fluffy...She's a big girl , shes a BBW whatever the hell that means ....look fat is fat and if you want the truth..... ask asian girls... the same age as you .. and they will tell you honestly .. you are fat ..because they can't understand why you'd wanna be ... ask a kid .. he's 8 but he'll tell you ....."YOU eat too much lady "...

ok here is an honest answer from a insensitive guy look in the mirror are you fat or not if you are over weight and i'm with you, its because i love you no matter what and don't care if you have a few extra pounds.what i want to know is this, why do women ask questions they don't want to hear a truthfull answer to its not the( insert whatever peice of clothing you want here)that makes your butt look fat its your fat butt that makes the clothes look fat.bottom line don't ask question your not prepared to hear the answer for.(told you i was insensitive didn't i)

i will tell u sumthin interesting .. men are not always insensitive .. sometimes they act over this particular issue very casually so that the women won't feel bad .. in other words .. make it into sumthing of less significance. Unfortunately this act sometimes lead women to beleive they are insensitive .. but i will not completely disagree ... i had been insensitive at times ... and now i feel bad about it!

Actually I'm really lucky my husband is so comforting when I'm having a fat day maybe your with an insensitive guy find someone else who will be there for you more emotionally

B\c some MEN dont care how we look, they just Love us for how we are and who we are, believe it or not. And.. some Men dont wnt 2 say anything incase they seem or come off as insensitive. Look when we get married things are gonna change over time and thats the part of marriage.

We are not all like that. It's just that it seems like every woman feels that way about them self's. My girl keeps telling that she is fat and I don't think she is. I try in every way I can think of to tell her this. I love her her for her, for the way she makes me feel. Even thought she is the most beautiful woman in the world she still says that she is fat. Just remember that beauty comes from the inside out. If you truly love someone it should be from the heart and not the eyes. I would never change anything about my baby. Hope this helps.

Because men don't see us as being fat. They love (or appreciate) us just the way we are, regardless of the extra kilos (or pounds). Being a woman, I honestly think that making women feel "fat" (through media and what not) is only a way to control us, and a way to make women unhealthy by forcing them to be overly worried about what others think, and how they look, and forcing them to conform to (for most of us) an unrealistic ideal.
I weigh about 160lbs nowadays (but slimming for my health), and my fiance loves every last inch of me, "shock absorbtion" and all! :)

because men are natural born @ssholes. they have a belly and says its from beer and they are darn proud of it. where as women have babies and have a harder time losing that pouch. men don't care. and men make us fat by being insensitive and in turn we eat because it makes us feel better about ourselve.
